WHAT DOES AN IDENTITY THEFT LAWYER COST?

If we represent you to help you remove identity theft credit report errors, there are no attorneys' fee unless we recover damages on your behalf.  Congress understood the importance of fair and accurate credit reporting to our banking system and passed the Fair Credit Reporting Act in part to ensure the stability of our banking and credit system.  Congress also understood most individuals are either unable or unwilling to pay an attorney up front to represent them in court for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Therefore, identity theft lawsuits under the Fair Credit Reporting Act benefit from fee-shifting provisions to permit consumers to recover, among other things, attorneys' fees for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
