Nick Hadous advises corporate and individual clients in a variety of contexts including personal injury, consumer protection litigation, medical malpractice, bad-faith insurance litigation, commercial litigation, debt settlement, export administration regulations, and bankruptcy law Nick has been the lead counsel in civil rights actions throughout the country, and has taken numerous cases to verdict. Nick is also a contributor for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and member of the ICLE Litigation Advisory Board.
Prior to founding Hadous|Co., Nick was a consultant at Ferris & Company in Dubai, U.A.E. where he advised on employment law, commercial transactions, commercial real estate development, and corporate law in the U.A.E. proper and in the various Free Trade Zones located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al-Khaimah and Sharjah. Nick enjoys a strong network across the Gulf Cooperation Council and is a point of contact for regional firms.

Since 2012, Nick has helped his clients recover in excess of $13 million dollars in combined settlements and verdicts, including a $3 million dollar jury verdict inclusive of costs in Maricopa County, Arizona on behalf of a condominium homeowners association against an insurer for bad faith.

- Assisted in the $45 million stock sale of a privately held company that held the licensing rights to a popular restaurant chain in Dubai and the GCC region.
- Counseled developer at various stages of a $200 million dollar mixed use development in the Dubai Marina.

- Cable v. City of Phoenix, 647 F. Appx. 780 (9th Cir. April 7, 2016). Successful appeal of the dismissal of civil rights lawsuit against the City of Phoenix and a Phoenix police officer to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Successful defense of the defendants' appeal of the denial of qualified immunity in federal civil rights lawsuit alleging excessive force and related state law claims against a City of Dearborn Heights police officer arising from involuntary encounter with police. - Saad v. Keller, 546 Fed.Appx. 552 (6th Cir. 2013). Successful defense of the defendants' appeal of the denial of qualified immunity in federal civil rights action alleging excessive force and related state law claim for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress against five City of Dearborn Heights police officers. The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the Eastern District of Michigan's denial of qualified immunity on nearly a dozen claims. Click here for opinion.
- Harp v. Equilon Enterprises, LLC, N.W.2d, 2012 WL 975050 (Mich. App. 2012). Successful appeal of the trial court's dismissal of Harp's fraud and breach of contract claims against Equilon Enterprises, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell Oil Company, arising from the sale and purchase of a gas station-convenience store and car wash, and a ten-year retail fuel supply agreement with Equilon. At the time, the trial judge was one of the least reversed judges in the State of Michigan, and Equilon/Shell was represented by a senior partner at one of Michigan's largest law firms. Nick, appearing pro hac vice (temporary admission), successfully appealed the dismissal and achieved a reversal of the trial court's dismissal of Harp's fraud and breach of contract claims.
